Health Emergencies/First Aid

State law limits the first aid we may give your child at school.  If your child becomes ill or receives a serious injury, you will be notified.  If you are not available, we will attempt to reach an emergency contact person.  If your child seems to be ill in the morning, please do not send him/her to school.  Please keep your phone numbers and emergency contacts current in our school files. If your child is sent home due to illness (diarrhea, vomiting, temperature, etc.), your child must remain home until 24 hours after the last event. If your child is sent home in the middle of the school day, he/she needs to remain home the following day or until the 24-hour clearance time has occurred.  Also, please keep us advised of any health status, activity restrictions or other relevant information.
