Distance Learning Schedules

Our virtual classroom strategies and tools for the 2020-21 school year will look different than what was offered this spring. Our online learning will include scheduled live lessons taught through google applications and with other tools to support independent learning at home. Below are sample schedules of possible school days four our current remote learning plan.

Below are sample schedules and information for elementary, middle school and high school schedules. We will continue to refine and add as plans develop.

Elementary School

·         Learning will include a combination of live learning instruction and recorded videos.

·         There will be regularly scheduled time for families to engage with school staff, allowing each family to partner with                   their teacher/school community to meet the individual learning needs of their child.

·         Learning will be prioritized around essential grade level standards.

·         There will be a continued focus on social-emotional well-being through daily class meetings and small group                            instruction.

From a student's perspective a day may look like this:

Middle School

·         Students will work on three classes a day.

·         Students will also have one homeroom class that will be a consistent student support class during the year. The                      homeroom teacher will be a student’s primary contact for the school year.

·         All classes will have a real-time/live learning schedule.

·         Learning will be prioritized around essential grade level standards.

·         Office hours for follow-up student questions and small group work will also be scheduled.

·         Pre-recorded or independent learning time will be scheduled.
