Transfer Renewals and New Requests February 19, 2024 - March 15, 2024

Hello families! It is time to turn in Non-Resident and In District Transfer request paperwork for the 2024-2025 school year. Transfer paperwork completed in a timely fashion is crucial in order for us to staff for next year. Every student has a neighborhood/assigned school depending on their address. If you are unsure of your neighborhood school, please contact the Transportation Department, 360-879-1900. 

Transfer Process for both In District and Non Resident 

Paperwork for transfer renewal requests and new requests will be open from February 19, 2024 to March 15,2024. Any paperwork received after March 15th may not be reviewed until 2 weeks prior to the start of the school year.


In District Transfers include:


Non Residents must complete two forms to attend the Eatonville School District

  • Non Resident Form

  • Release of Attendance, also known as a Choice Transfer

    • The Release of Attendance is obtained from your home district (Yelm, Bethel, Morton, ect.) 

Non Resident applications will not be considered without the Release from your neighborhood school.

One final note, if you are attending a school/program/homeschool that is not your assigned school this year and want to return to your neighborhood school for the 24-25 school year, you will need to let both the current school/program and your assigned school know of your plan for next year. Again, this is crucial for staffing and keeping classroom sizes down and needs to be completed by March 15, 2024.
