Athletics

Eatonville Middle School is pleased to announce that we will be offering interscholastic Baseball and Boys Soccer for our Middle School students beginning next school year.  Our Middle Schools will be joining the Plateau Middle School League for the 2023-2024 school year.  The Plateau Middle School League includes Middle Schools from Enumclaw, Fife, Franklin Pierce, Orting, Buckley, White River, and Sumner-Bonney Lake School Districts.

The 4 requirements for participation are:

1. Sports Physical (within two years of last date of season) https://www.eatonville.wednet.edu/ems/athletics/physical-form

2. Parent Registration (Must be completed in FinalForms) https://eatonville-wa.finalforms.com/

3. Student Registration (Must be completed in FinalForms) https://eatonville-wa.finalforms.com/

4. ASB Fee paid or applied ($40 Paid in the school main office or through in-touch before the first competition. Free & Reduced Lunch program participants should talk with the office staff on how to have this fee paid for them)

( In-Touch: https://www.eatonville.wednet.edu/departments/food-services/student-accounts)

Parents must log in and create an account at FinalForms (https://eatonville-wa.finalforms.com/) and also create and account for their player/athlete. Coaches will make contact with registered participants as we get closer to start dates via email from Final Forms. It is imperative that students utilize their school email for all registration.

Plateau League Schedule

Eligibility rules require that students have a valid sports physical on file in the office that remains valid through the end of the season for each distinct sport. Participants MUST have a valid Sports Physical and Parent and Student Registrations on FINALFORMS in order to practice. Unfortunately there are NO EXCEPTIONS.

Coaches will make contact as season start dates become closer. Practices begin immediately after school Monday through Friday and generally go until 4:30 or 5:00 pm depending on the sport. All participants must bring a water bottle to practice to ensure participant safety and proper hydration and individual safety. Columbia Crest students are provided transportation to EMS each day for practice, but there is no activity bus to take athletes home. Parents/Guardians must arrange for pick up as required. Games days are also a challenge for our CC athletes as parents must arrange for transportation to EMS as well.

EATONVILLE WARRIOR ATHLETICS

Before a student/athlete can participate they must have all required forms completed on Skyward through Student and Family Access, have purchased an ASB card, and must have submitted at valid Sports Physical to our Office. For assistance, please contact our Office (360) 641-1400.

Warrior Parents!
We love the support our parents give to our students athletes. When your son or daughter changes into uniform and becomes an athlete, you also have to change – from parent to fan. Your job is not to be the coach or the expert. You are there to support your son or daughter and the team. You are an admirer, an encourager, and a fan. You applaud the “downs” as well as the “ups”. We encourage our WARRIOR Parents to make sure your children know that win or lose, scared or heroic, you love them, appreciate their efforts, and are not disappointed in them. This will allow them to do their best without a fear of failure. Be the person in their life they can look to for constant positive enforcement.

Grade Checks
Student Athletes are required to pass all classes. A grade check is done at the beginning of the season and every two weeks after. If a student fails a class they are placed on the following steps:
  • Step 1: Probation, two weeks to get grade up.
  • Step 2: Can go to practice, no contests or traveling until next grade check. Has two weeks to get grades up.
  • Step 3: Removal from team.
