Cell Phones

Students are discouraged from bringing cellphones to school. However, we do recognize that occasionally parents permit their students to have a cell phone for personal security before and after school. We require students to turn cell phones off upon arrival at school and leave them in their backpack or bookbag until they leave campus. Cell phones are not to be in the student’s possession during class, in restrooms, at lunch or recess. At no time are cell phones to be used during the school day unless a teacher gives them permission to be used as part of an activity. We are happy to facilitate communication between students and parents through classroom or office phones. The school is not responsible for any damaged or stolen cell phones.
