Transfer Renewals and New Requests February 2, 2026 - February 18, 2026
Hello families! It is time to turn in Non-Resident and In District Transfer request paperwork for the 2026-2027 school year. Transfer paperwork completed in a timely fashion is crucial in order for us to staff for next year. Every student has a neighborhood/assigned school depending on their address. If you are unsure of your neighborhood school, please contact the Transportation Department, 360-879-1900.
Transfer Process for both In-District and Non-Resident
Paperwork for transfer renewal requests and new requests will be open from February 2, 2026 - February 18, 2026. Any paperwork received after February 18th may not be reviewed until 2 weeks prior to the start of the school year.
IN DISTRICT TRANSFERS
Definition - Students living within the residential area of an Eatonville district school building but would like to attend a different Eatonville school building for the school year.
Process - Complete the Annual In District Transfer Application.
*In District Transfer applications are processed at the school building your student is requesting to transfer OUT of. Please complete this request annually.
example; your student lives in the residential area of EES but you would like them to attend WES. You would turn in an Annual In District Transfer form to EES, your students residential school building.
In District Transfer forms are accepted by the main secretaries in each building listed below:

Non Resident Transfer (Choice Transfer In)
Definition - Students who do NOT reside in the Eatonville School District but would like to attend any Eatonville school building for the school year. This includes students who move outside of our district mid-year.
Process -
1. Release your student from their residential school district by applying through the OSPI Choice Transfer Portal.
2. Complete the Annual Non Resident Application and send it to Kari Agnew at transfers@eatonville.wednet.edu
3. If your student is attending 6th - 12th grade, please provide attendance, discipline, and transcripts from the last attended school.
Non Resident Transfer applications are processed at our District Office. All applicable steps above must be completed to start the application process for our district. Please complete this annually.
example; your student lives in the Bethel School District but you like them to attend Eatonville School District. You would follow the steps outlined above, in order, and turn the appropriate paperwork into Kari Agnew at transfers@eatonville.wednet.edu
District Release (Choice Transfer Out)
Definition - Students who live within the Eatonville School District but would like to attend a school in a
different district for the school year. This includes accredited public online schools.
Process - Release your student from Eatonville School District attendance by applying through the OSPI Choice Transfer Portal. Please complete this annually.
*Once released, please contact your new school of choice for any additional information on approvals or enrollment requirements.
