Mr. Brower – Superintendent, Eatonville School District
With over 40 years of experience in public education, Mr. Brower is dedicated to supporting students, staff, and the community. He currently serves as the Superintendent of the Eatonville School District, bringing a wealth of knowledge from his extensive career in education. In his first two years as Superintendent, he has led efforts to devise and implement a five-year strategic plan, secure important school funding through the passage of two levy measures, address and resolve transportation challenges and increase student achievement and attendance. Mr. Brower has also held several community forums to address matters of great importance to students, families and community members.
Mr. Brower spent 38 years in the Bethel School District, where he served in various leadership roles, including K–12 teacher, elementary principal, and Director of Community Connections at the district office level. His focus has always been on ensuring student achievement, enhancing student services, fostering community engagement, and ensuring equitable access to educational opportunities.
He holds a Master of Social Work degree from Eastern Washington University, an Educational Staff Associate certificate and a Principal Certification from the University of Washington. Throughout his career, Mr. Brower has been instrumental in securing over $8 million in grant funding, which has been used to expand academic programs, enhance post-high school pathways, support food security initiatives, and promote family stability.
Mr. Brower’s deep commitment to community partnerships has consistently supported students from preschool through high school, with a focus on ensuring every student has the resources to succeed, to graduate and to be prepared for the future.
Outside of his professional life, Mr. Brower enjoys spending time with his family and grandchildren. He is an avid hiker and mountain climber and has even tried his hand at wing walking a few times.
