Each school district has an employee designated with the responsibility of ensuring compliance of Section 504. This employee, the 504 Coordinator can provide assistance as well as respond to allegations of discrimination based on disability.

The U.S. Office for Civil Rights is the agency responsible for receiving and responding to alleged violations of Section 504.
