Medication at School

State law permits the giving of oral medication to students during school hours, provided proper authorization from physicians and parents is obtained.  The form needed for this is available in the office and offices of all Pierce County Health providers.  This also includes all over-the-counter medication such as cough drops, pain relievers, and lotions.

Information regarding required immunizations prior to school attendance is available in the office.
