Hello, my name is Ms. Meysenburg and I am the school social worker at Columbia Crest A-STEM Academy! This will be my 3rd year in the Eatonville School District, and I am excited to continue supporting our students and families. I attended Washington State University and Capella University—Go Cougs! I am dedicated to creating a safe, supportive school environment and have a passion for student well-being. My role includes promoting positive attitudes among students, assisting them in understanding how school connects to their future, providing classroom lessons on skills such as social emotional learning and conflict resolution, working individually or in small groups on topics like friendship and social skills, addressing attendance concerns, supporting students during personal challenges, and connecting families with outside resources. I am here to help students navigate challenges, build resilience, and thrive both in and out of the classroom. Students can request to see me through their teacher, or I can meet with them at the request of parents or staff. I am available on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and can be reached at k.meysenburg@eatonville.
