Principal's Message

Welcome to Eatonville High School, Home of the Cruisers!

I am truly honored to greet you on behalf of the entire staff at Eatonville High School.  As principal, it is a pleasure to lead such a caring and dynamic organization where the focus on student achievement drives our daily efforts.

As you drive into the town of Eatonville, you will notice the beautiful brick building that we occupy today.  It was originally completed in 1916 and was renowned as far away as Chicago for its state of the art features, including a full-size swimming pool and gymnasium.  EHS was remodeled in 2010 and is now fully modernized while maintaining that historical charm.  If you are a resident of Eatonville, you are already aware of the incredible support this community provides to our schools as well as the sense of pride surrounding the long and rich history of Eatonville High School.

With a student body of just under 600 students, Eatonville High School is a place where the teachers and staff know each student individually and work together to remove barriers and promote success.  This commitment is reflected in our consistently high on-time graduation rate.  It is a priority for our whole team to support all students in creating a plan for success in high school and beyond, wherever that path may lead.  We are proud of the strong academic programs we offer that meet a broad spectrum of learning needs as well as the social-emotional support that is essential.

Beyond academics, we recognize the importance of holistic development.  Our school offers a wide range of extracurricular activities, clubs, and sports programs that cater to diverse interests.  We encourage students to explore their passions, develop their talents, and discover new horizons.  These experiences not only help in building character and teamwork but also contribute to the overall well-being of our students.

We understand the significance of parental involvement and the vital role it plays in a student’s success.  We encourage parents to actively engage with our school, be it through parent-teacher conferences, volunteering, or participating in school events.  We firmly believe that strong partnerships between school and home create the supportive environment needed for our students to thrive.

This website should answer many of the questions you have about the operation and policies of Eatonville School District and Eatonville High School.  However, if you have additional questions or concerns, please contact our office at (360) 879-1200.

We are looking forward to a wonderful 2023-24 school year!  Go Cruisers!
